Homework is still set and given out on a Tuesday and should be returned the following Monday. Spellings are also now given out with the rest of the homework, followed by a spelling test on Monday. Please encourage your child to complete homework on time and if you help him or her, indicate this on their work. Please read with your child on a regular basis. Your child should take responsibility for his or her own reading record (which should go to and from school each day); filling in their own comments (2 comments a week) and it is to be handed in with the homework.
Please ensure that your child’s PE kit is in school every day. If your child is unable to do PE, please supply a written note as to the reason why. Please note that on colder days they should bring in tracksuit bottoms and a warm top to wear as PE will continue in all weathers! Earrings are to be removed for PE or not worn on PE days if easier. During term 4, we will be going swimming on Wednesday afternoons. Please ensure all kit is named!
Thank you for your continued support and I look forward to another two exciting terms!
